Acme Local began with one little catchphrase…“Kansas: It’s not that bad!”

Kidding aside, it’s no secret that Manhattan, Kansas is a pretty special place. As we began printing up a few tees and pints with our favorite state’s iconography and nods to “Manhappiness”, we realized just how proud our community was and how excited our friends and neighbors were to show off their local pride, and Acme Local was officially born. When a beautiful, historic building in Aggieville sat empty for far too long, our team couldn’t pass up the chance to preserve the natural brick walls and stained glass windows, so we rented it to fill with the ever-growing collection of tees, hoodies, and other fun swag sporting Kansas and Midwest vintage-inspired designs.
